About the club

Building the engineers of the digital future — from student to student.

The Industry 4.0 Club at Prince Sultan University is a community of students who learn by building, compete globally, and pass their knowledge to the next cohort.

Our vision

From student to student

To be the place where PSU students innovate for the Fourth Industrial Revolution — where each generation of students teaches the next, and competes with the best in the world.

Our mission

To empower students by exploring and applying Industry 4.0 technologies — promoting cross-disciplinary collaboration, hands-on learning and knowledge sharing, and building teams ready to compete locally and internationally.

Hands-on, real projects

Apply your studies to robots, vehicles, aircraft and satellites — not just theory.

Compete internationally

Represent PSU at Shell Eco-marathon, VEX-U, SatThon and more.

Cross-disciplinary teams

Work alongside students from every major and learn skills beyond your own.

Industry exposure

Meet partners like Jahez, Leonardo and Shell, and build a standout portfolio.

History & founding

From a flag raised in Malaysia to the winners' podium

Our journey began in 2019 at the Shell Eco-marathon in Asia, and grew into a team that competes — and wins — on the world stage.

  1. 2019 WHERE IT BEGAN

    Debut at Shell Eco-marathon Asia

PSU students carry the Saudi flag to the Shell Eco-marathon in Malaysia for the first time — the spark that started the club’s competitive journey.

  2. 2024 FIRST WINS

1st in the Middle East + first 3D-printed plane

The Eco Team takes 1st in the Middle East at Shell, while the aerospace team designs, prints and flies a model airplane with MK Technologies — a PSU first.

  3. 2025 BREAKTHROUGH

SatThon final, VEX-U Award & a double Shell win

Selected from 480 teams for the SatThon satellite final, awarded the VEX-U Innovation Award, and 1st in the Middle East in both Shell categories.

  4. 2026 GOING FURTHER

Shell Qatar 2026 and SatThon II

The team races at the Shell Eco-marathon in Qatar and prepares SatThon II, the next iteration of its student-satellite program.
